Description and images by BuyerBoy –

Up for sale is this rare oak cigar vending machine..it is in great condition for the age and is in totally as found untouched condition.

It has a tag that reads “standard vending machine co. hazleton pa”. it measures 27 in wide 56in tall and 20 in deep. The legs are iron and are removable for shipping.

Condition is as follows..original finish quartered oak case. Finish is dirty in places and has a finish scratch in back ..glass is good and internal parts are complete..levers move freely..around the 10 cent dispencer which is the far right.

There is some dry rot in wood from most likely from a leaky roof or something like that. Just under that there is some dry rot also..not terrible but can just get your finger nail to go into. Not very deep..when you lift lid you can also see there a two very small pieces of wood missing as picture shows. There is a cash drawer below dispencer which I do not have key. It has three dispencing areas two are 5 cent and one is 10 cent..that should help date..I would think 1910ish..truly a remarkable a piece in the condition that you want to find an item in..

Untouched…as I said legs remove for shipping..item is quit heavy..I do have a possible delivery person that travels the midwest and east coast..please contact me for a price for a door step delivery..item can be picked up in person..I am located 2hrs north of Syracuse, N.Y. or we could meet somewhere in between for a price…buyer to pay shipping and ins.not exactly sure what will cost to ship but buyer will pay actual cost.

I did search the internet for info on this machine. I only found one that has sold lately and that was at an auction in Pennsylvania called Conestoga…that one didnt have the orignal iron legs…if you Google the auction and item you should be able to find.

Thanks for looking and feel free to ask questions about the piece or shipping…nys buyers to 7% sales tax unless have vaild resale number.
