Full Sized / Life sized 1:1 Star Wars Astromech R2-D2 droid –  This very cool prop is one of the nicest droid props you can find.  The body is perfectly round and is a fiberglass body with 1/4 inch thick inner cardboard sono tube for reinforcement. Each of the parts on the body are seperately cast, painted and mounted, and perfectly clean body. The legs are also lightweight fiberglass material, and very straight.  The Feet are hollow and hard casted fiberglass…could actually hold wheels, but I dont have the skills to do it.  The Dome is also fiberglass with lights that blink all over the dome as well as the holo projector lights up.  Dome can be turned, and R2 can assume the 3 legged position or even the two legged position very easily.

The droid ships in 3 boxes – legs,   This is a complete CUSTOM build droid, each part was created from scratch, and not copied off the R2 builders metal parts.

There are some metal parts on this droid, some on the body, feet and legs, and will include a droid restraining bolt if you want.  This is a great display, and why spent $5500 on one from another company when you can get nearly the same quality for half the price.  email me if you have questions.

Recently acquire but have to sell for money reasons.  Will include feet battery lines that were not orginally included.  US shipping only.

This is really a stand in the corner and admire prop..you could put wheels into the sturdy hollow fiberglass feet for rolling, but I do not think the body can support the weight of the metal frame that you need for the remote control electronics…I firmly believe you need an all machined metal droid to be able to do that…The body is 1/4 inch thick Fiberglass Resin wrapped around a 1/4 inch thick cardboard HARD Tube, with a wood circle bottom…that could pop off from the weight of anything you might put inside without interior frame.
