1890s WATERMAN 404 Eyedropper Fountain Pen REPOUSSE Sterling Silver Art Nouveau

This is a very rare Waterman.  It is in original condition.  I went through my pen book and I could not find anything like this one.  I did find something from the same period on Worthpoint, this seller said that not very many of these were made.  He claimed that 6 are known to exist but I am not sure about that (you collectors will know for sure). He also went on to say that a similar pen to his sold on eBay for $7700.00.  See link. http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/super-waterman-404-sterling-repousse-134463224   In my opinion this rose pen is a nicer looking pen. This pen is all sterling silver, no filigree work.  The pen has a wonderful Art Nouveau Rose bud/Flower raised image.  The top says “WATERMAN’S IDEAL FOUNTAIN PEN STERLING”.  It has a 3 letter engraving.  The letters look like “O J R” or something similar.  There is normal wear, ultra fine scratches, the overall condition on the body is excellent.  There is tarnish in the crevasses.  The nib is a Waterman Ideal New York 4.  The nib is tested 14K gold.  The nib tip is bent a little and there is a little crack in it right about the word Waterman, the bottom part on the nib has a 5/8″ crack in it.  The cap fits good on both ends.  The design is a rose bush.  the cap has a stem, some leaves and a rose bud and the stem has a blooming rose on stem with leaves, very beautiful.  In fact I have never seen any pen that looks like this one.  The pen is 5 1/4″ long. This is a .99 start NO RESERVE auction.  High bidder wins it!!!  You do not want to let this one get away.  Pen will ship insured.
