1940’s Good Humor Ice Cream Bicycle Cart  Restored from an excellent and original rust free example (full photo set available)

20 Years ago I found and restored this original 1940’s Good Humor Bicycle cart from a complete and correct untouched original.  Unlike many carts like the one recently seen on “American Restoration” this cart had all the original parts and no damage.  It still has its original fenders, and plastic Dietz light’s, which are wired for a dry cell battery.  These carts were made by Acorn manufacturing in IL, and this one has the original ID plate.  It was properly restored, and media blasted down to the bare metal, and refinished in top quality automotive finish’s.  It was the beginning of a career restoring some of the world’s most expensive car, which I do today here at our shops in Upstate NY.  The liner is original and even has the factory name inked on the wall ( as seen in the photos).  I chose to leave lettering it up to the future owner, in case they ever wanted to use it as a promotional piece, or do it back to original.  I have a hand striper that can do any art work by hand for an additional cost to the new owner’s choosing.  Very few of these come up for sale and I have documented auction results over $25,000.  This is a rare chance to have one that is properly restored and original.
