1968 – 1969 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop Guitar P-90 Pickups with Creme Covers Super Rare Dark Back Serial No. 558834 Pots dated 52nd week of 1968 Original Gibson Rectangular Hard Case with Gold Interior Very nice 1968 – 1969 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop Guitar. Beautiful Guitar with lots of mojo. Gold finish shows some play wear, marks, dents and dings and has finish checking as seen in the photos. No greening of the gold finish. Super Rare Dark back body and neck show play wear through the finish as seen in the photos but the neck is still smooth. Frets in very good condition. Fretboard in good condition. Awesome sounding P-90 pickups. Bridge pickup cover has small hairline crack as seen in the photos. The chrome is worn off the tailpiece. The tuners were changed to Schallers at one time but the originals are back on. I think the strap buttons were changed for larger ones. Both the Schaller tuners and the orginal strap buttons are included in the case. The guitar is in good condition overall and has been played as it was meant to be. Comes in the original Gibson black retangular hard case with gold lining. This is a very rare and collectible vintage guitar. Any offer will be quickly and seriously considered.
