1970 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 Convertible finished in Twilight Blue over blue interior. Extremely rare fully documented and real 442 W-30 Convertible 4 speed car. This example is 1 of only 96 ever produced. It recently underwent a highly extensive and expensive 4 year nut and bolt restoration. The frame was nut shell blasted and received a correct GM frame re-spray. Suspension and brakes were fully rebuilt, powder coated and plated. Drivetrain was fully rebuilt including the 3.91 ratio 12 bolt rear end and M-21 4 speed. Shifter was rebuilt and plated at Hurst Industries. The heart of this rare beast, the 455 V8 was= fully rebuilt down to every detail. All factory original parts were used and it was reborn on a break in and Dyno machine. It recorded over 370HP with 500 FT/LB of Torque. You will further note this car has the front fenders that are true 1970 W-30 fenders, and they are seam flat – not crumple “crush” dimples fenders from the 1971 cars. Coming highly optioned from the factory with Bucket Seats, factory delete center console, power windows, power steering, AM/FM stereo, tinted glass, power trunk release, power top, rear glass window, sport steering wheel, clock, Rallye RPM gauge package, floor mats, and top boot cover. This excellent restoration was finished off with all new or refurbished original or NOS brightwork and trim. Interior is Salt and Pepper two tone as it was born from the factory. The stunning paint was completed in its born factory correct #28 “Twilight Blue” with white stripes and white top.
