McDonnell Douglas metal model Northwest DC7 – C

When the major airlines would take order of a new aircraft McDonnell Douglas would release a large scale model of that aircraft. Rare even in their heyday these super sized full metal models are nearly impossible to find. This example of Northwest’s DC 7 is a unique find and a once in a life time treasure for any areophile. This model was purchased over 30 years ago at an estate sale. I’m unsure when the original owner bought the display but I’m guessing 40 years.

Northwes Model Plane Crate

This model measures nearly 28 inches nose to tail and a 30 inch wingspan. It comes on an articulated stand. Also it will arrive in the original wooden shipping crate. Contact me if you would like more pictures. This is a truly special and unique piece. I have seen similar pieces sold for over $3500.
