1950 Chevrolet Custom Touring Coupe
Well here it is straight from American Graffiti, (not really) but it does look like the hot rod in that movie. Passing Lane Motors LLC is proud to offer up this very nice driving 1950’s Chevrolet Custom Coupe. Now don’t think that you have to give up the creature comforts of todays Vehicles to drive in a 1950 Custom Coupe Hot Rod. Because this 50 has it all, heat and air, power windows, premium sound with multi disk CD changer and remote, beautiful digital dash, 4 wheel power disk brakes. So wherever you go you will be in style.
Engine Transmission and Driveline
Fresh 350 with lots of chrome very nicely detailed, new 600CFM carb and water pump. The engine starts effortlessly and idles smooth and has great acceleration. The 350 turbo transmission shifts great and has a really cool feature, what gear it’s in shows up on the digital dash. The tranny is kept cool with a external transmission cooler. The rear end is a chevy 10 bolt.
Exterior
All panels show a high degree of gloss and are very straight, no visible rust can be found anywhere. The paint is driver plus 2- does have some touch ups, the flames are painted on. All panels are straight and rust free and the body line are exceptional for a car of it’s stature. The bumpers and chrome all have a high degree of shine and sre in great shape. All 5 White Wall tires are new with chrome wheels and moon hubcaps (yes I said 5 even the spare is new and matching wheel) The tinted windows ad just a hint of privacy. All lights, signals and horn work properly.
Interior
Wow, what a place to observe the world and have the world admire you! Power Windows, completely updated interior with Vintage Auto Air and Heat, Mole hair seats, head liner, and trunk. Very nice carpet, with floor mats. the digital dash is fantastic and works great, also with the gear selection indicator, a super nice feature. Then to the sound system (not just a radio) Super nice stereo with remote and a Alpine multi disk CD changer and FXS Amplifier. The 50 has a really cool blue interior light.
In Closing
I could not be prouder to offer up this very fine example of a Resto Mod 50 Custom Coupe, it is a great driver, fly in and drive it home. It compares to cars that we are charging many times the price of this 50. This car would make a great cruiser, pro touring, or show car any way it’s ready to go.
