Chinese White Jade Snuff Bottle, Circa Late 18th to Early 19th Century. Of ovoid form with narrow profile, short cylindrical neck, flat mouth slightly angled towards the center, and recessed foot surrounded by an oval foot-rim. Jade is of an even white color with a slight mottled appearance and a very faint greenish-white hue. The narrow sides decorated in low relief carved lion-mask-and-ring handles. Nice old polish to jade with a well hollowed interior. Dark red amber stopper. HEIGHT: 6.5 cm (2.5 in)
