The best Lyme Regis fossil fish on Ebay and available on the market at the moment. A “Flatstone” layer beach pebble that has been split to reveal the fish then prepared to a high standard. Both positive and negative side sold together. Extremely well prepared with no restoration or repairs. Better than museum grade standard fossil.
Size:- fish = 13 cm (5 inches) long. Overall Beach Pebble Size = 22 cm (8.75 inches) high by 19 cm (7.5 inches) wide.
Found:- Flatstone layer,
Obtusum Zone, Lower Lias,
Lower Jurassic,
Black Ven, Charmouth, Nr. Lyme Regis, Dorset,
