Rare factory 4-speed convertible. NOM period correct 327, rebuilt, double hump heads, L79 Cam, Edelbrock intake and carb. Rebuilt M21, Rebuilt 10 Bolt rear end. New exhaust and radiator. Rebuilt front end. New shocks, new tires, new top, new carpet. new interior. Rare dash top clock keeps great time and is the correct option with in-dash tach. Power steering and power front disc brakes. Manual top but I did buy the parts to convert to power including hard to find cylinder brackets. Over $10K in receipts. Runs and drives excellent, no issues with starting or cooling. Paint 3 Years old and looks great, minor blemish as shown. I don’t have any history on the car beyond the last 3 years. No rust, solid floors with minor repairs in the corners typical for convertibles. Drivers quarter panel was professionally replaced at some point.

This is a great looking and driving car. It has the right stance, drives straight and solid, no disappointments.

Starting price is the reserve price. Contact me for more information . Most cars need something and this one is no exception. So in the interest of full disclosure I have compiled a list of things that aren’t needed to enjoy the car but I would complete if I kept it longer:  * I would install the power top parts. I talked to someone at a show recently that converted theirs and they said it was easy. I just haven’t had time. Parts come with the car  * I bought a 2 speed wiper with washer pump and sprayer nozzles but never installed them. The 2 speed switch is installed as is a new switch harness. Parts come with the car  * The spare is a universal rim, I never got around to buying a matching rim. I have a jack but never tried to use it. A good tire comes with the car as well as the universal rim, tire and jack .  * There are no issues with the wiring but the under dash wiring is original so I would replace it someday if I kept the car just for peace of mind. The engine harness is new  * The car is very straight but if I were to do anything body related I would replace the door hinges. This isn’t necessary but it would be on my list since they do have a little slop after 47 years. The drivers hinge detent cam is broken, a new hinge comes with the car .  * The flywheel dust cover is missing. I never got around to installing one. Out of sight, out of mind. I never drive in water or dirt anyway.  * The rear suspension squeaks when I go over speed bumps, I never got around to figuring out what that was. I had a squeak in the front but it went away after I replaced the sway bar bushings. There are anti-squeak pads for the rear coil springs, that might be the cause, or the bushings for the 4-link, but it never bothered me enough to pull everything apart .  * The rubber seal for the trunk was the solid rubber type that is too thick and pushes the lid out of alignment. I never got around to buying the proper high quality seal. A minor thing. You can see it in the trunk photos  * The speedometer still thinks the car has 14″ wheels, so it reads a little slow. I never got around to buying the correct drive gear * I bought new back-up lights but never got around to buying the reverse switch.   None of these things NEED to be done and it’s probably only a weekend or 2 of relatively easy stuff, but it is all stuff you should know.
