A superb large Chinese export porcelain octagonal Transition covered vase made in beautiful shape attractive decorated with a Chinese landscape all over in which many Chinese figures and floral design. The cover also decorated with a Chinese landscape all over. Superb large vase! Beautiful blue colours. Great early vase! Very hard to find!
Age: 16th Century.
Condition: Vase: Good condition, many fritting to the toprim (see pictures) and a large crack starting at the base to the body (see all pictures). Further no damages or restorations. Cover: Excellent condition, only many fritting/usual wear (see pictures). Further vase and cover no cracks, hairlines or restorations. The cover a little out of shape.
Size: Height incl. cover 14,6 inch (370 mm) and wide 8,9 inch (225 mm).
