The Seller spicedlatte described the item as: “An exceptional rare piece of Southern coin silver from Thomas Phillips, Paris, Kentucky. The marks on the back of the 14-1/2 inch ladle are “TP” and “PARIS” Monogram on handle a “K” The bowl measures 3-5/8″. This piece shows normal wear for as being as old as it is(1795-1818) but no defects or dents. Phillips coin silver has been considered one of the more scarce, rare, and desirable of old Southern Kentucky coin silver”
Definitely a very nice Collectible that brought a lot of attention and a great price.
