Fantastic Four #12 Comic Book Sells for $48,201

Offered for sale on Ebay was a collection of several different comic books including the “Fantastic Four Meeting Hulk Thing Comic Book” certified by CGS as 9.4 Grade condition.

This comic book sold for a price of $48,201. on Ebay. There were a total of 62 different bids placed. The auction ended on September 28, 2011. The sellers Ebay name was “Sparkle City Comics.”

The comic and several others came from the Saginaw Collection. It is named after the owner of the comics who started purchasing the entire collection since he was 14 years old. He collected them until he was 35 years old preserving them in tightly sealed wrapper in order to protect them for many years.
