We are listing this antique German Meissen porcelain figurine of an elegant beautiful woman.   This fashionable lady is wearing a long white evening gown with a rose on her lapel and a gold necklace around her neck.  She is putting on long white gloves and has a black feather fan hanging from her elbow.  Perhaps she is attending a ball or the opera.   According to illustration number 74 in the book MEISSEN PORCELAIN OF THE ART NOUVEAU PERIOD by Johannes Just, this figure was designed by Rudolf Hentschel in 1909.  However, we don’t know exactly what year this specific figure was produced.   MARK/SIGNATURE: Appropriate underglaze blue crossed swords mark with the large hand incised number A205. above a small colorless impressed number 148 next to an overglaze black hand painted number 32.   CONDITION: In excellent original condition free from chips, cracks, scratches, wear, stains, damages, alterations, or repairs. Only mentioned for the record, there are a few typical scattered miniscule factory original molding imperfections to the very edge of the base.  None of these tiny manufacturing imperfections are visually obvious or distracting, and they can only be discovered under the closest scrutiny.  There is also a factory original tiny dark glaze spec in one of the folds of her dress,   This piece is NOT marked as a factory second. This is in virtually mint condition.   MEASUREMENTS: Approximate maximum height is 10 3/8 inches.
