We’re proud to be able to offer this authentic Tiffany Studios table lamp. This has a Tiffany Acorn pattern shade. The circular stepped base is very nice and is very detailed as you can see. The shade and base are both signed on this leaded glass and gilt-bronze lamp, circa 1905. (We believe this to be accurate based on the time these sockets were in use) The lamp is 21 1/4 in. high and has a 16 in. diameter shade. Shade impressed TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 1435, base impressed TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 585. The shade maintains all original glass and all glass is secure. All the Perkins sockets are original and in working order.
Provenance – client received as a gift from her late husband in 1948. The lamp was bought at an antiques store in Ottawa, KS. The history of lamp before 1948 is unknown. Overall the lamp is a very exciting and beautiful piece in mint/near mint condition. We took a magnifying glass to this lamp and honestly couldn’t find anything wrong with it. The current owner has collected art all her life but was never a big fan of Tiffany lamps, so the lamp has sat in a back bedroom for many years and has rarely even been plugged in. The home is kept cool and has a dehumidifier which helps explain why this lamp is in such pristine condition.
