This auction is for an original 1930s-40s Pepsi Cola porcelain sign that says “Hits the Spot” and has a large 5¢. It goes with the 1930s slogan “Pepsi Cola hits the spot / twelve full ounces, that’s a lot / twice as much for a nickel, too / pepsi cola is the drink for you!” It has the same image on both sides and one side does have a damaged spot and a sticker that needs to be removed. Other than that, the sign is in wonderful condition. It measures approximately 56” by 34” and weighs between 40-50 lbs.
